Basic Features

 

e-Open is a new version of ProOpen, a SW tool allowing for work with geographical data. It joins the rich functionality of ProOpen with all advantages provided by saving digitized geographical data in a database. Using a standard interface, e-Open can be easily linked to any special, branch-oriented, DB applications.
  

Functionality of e-Open follows the functionality of its predecessor, including:

  • Viewing raster as well as vector data in the MS Windows environment
  • Complex acquisition, management and handling of vector objects
  • Basic CAD functions
  • Flexible filtering of graphical objects and wide range of their selection options
  • Work possible in as many as 500 layers, including their grouping
  • Import and export of vector graphical formats
  • Print outputs to standard MS Windows-based printers or to a plotter

Moreover, e-Open brings new, up-to-date functionality, including:

  • All graphical objects as well as descriptive data are saved in a database
  • The application allows full-value multi-user operation in both client / server and three-tier architecture
  • In line with current trends, the product is ready to be used in the Internet/Intranet environment
  • The solution includes complex management of views on all open projects
  • Last but not least, e-Open disposes of a new, up-to-date interface

Single Implementation

 

e-Open is ready to be used as a single solution independent on its link to any other applications. Such a variant allows full-value work related to entering, editing and viewing geographical data, i.e. standard functions of any up-to-date GIS tool.
